The HITACHI airH2O 400 air/water heat pump system is a device that converts the energy of the outside air into heat for heating the home. The heat pump uses a Freon circuit to consume a minimal amount of electricity, while extracting a large amount of heat from the outside air (even if it is -25℃ outside) and transferring it to your home for heating. The system has an extremely high efficiency. Consuming 1.0 kW of electricity, the HITACHI heat pump will produce up to 5.1 kW of thermal energy. Compared to a conventional electric or solid fuel boiler, the HITACHI airH2O 400 system consumes on average three times less energy during the heating season.
